Ashley Omar is a single mom of 4 children who left her career as a Baltimore County 911 Operator after 5 years due to not having any type of reliable childcare during her time there after the pandemic. Ashley is a warm hearted mom who knew that something needed to be done for the other parents/friends having the same dilemma. Wanting to have this incredible career that demanded hours outside of childcare "normal Business hours". Ashley has completed all her training for Family childcare including SIDS, CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, ADA and more. Ashley also has her associate in Business Administration as well. Ashley is dedicated to helping others and making sure a reliable, safe and friendly facility is accessible to everyone.

Our Mission
The Purpose of Rise and Shine Childcare is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of working parents. We offer around the clock care including weekends and holidays to accommodate parents’ busy schedules. Our trained staff will provide age-appropriate activities and educational opportunities to foster children’s growth and development. At our in-home facility we understand that parents lead busy lives, and we want to make their lives a little easier. We provide a range of services to ensure that children are well cared for while their parents are at work including Fulltime, Evening Hours, Overnight & Drop-in Services Which all include nutritious meals and snacks, nap times, and playtime. Our center is equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment to encourage children to learn and explore. Children are provided with opportunities to interact with their peers in a developmentally appropriate environment welcoming of children of all abilities that offers a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities.
